Boutique Music is a live music collective delivering curated entertainment for weddings, events and corporate functions across Perth, Australia and internationally.
Led by Perth singer and multi-instrumentalist Ruby Miguel, Boutique Music brings together a talented roster of performers who specialise in musical artistry, creating a contemporary live music experience with acoustic sets.

My attitude towards music is never just “filling the silence”, it’s about purpose and intention.
I feel most fulfilled as an artist when my music is chosen to be part of the experience, to elevate those special moments and to be the entertainment that not only sounds incredible but is also aesthetically pleasing to the eye.
Be it a tear at the ceremony, sunglasses on and singing along during cocktails or a small sway in the seat during a beautiful dinner service, these moments shape the overall atmosphere and that’s what I’m all about.
WHEN MUSIC MEETS MEANING
With over a decade of professional performance experience, I’m passionate about creating experiences through music. What started as a love for performing when I was young has grown into a full-service entertainment collective, designed to elevate moments with live soundtracks whilst also making the planning process open, collaborative and enjoyable.
I’ve spent time living in Melbourne, Cherbourg in France, and Brighton in the UK, but Perth will always be home. I value being close to the ocean and my family, and staying connected to the place where my love of music first began.
I hold a Bachelor of Music from the Australian Institute of Music in Melbourne, and over the years I’ve built a diverse performance career across multiple genres and settings. I have toured the UK with Square Dance Caller in 2024, performed with Mal de Mer at Mt Kosciuszko’s Snow Fest and supported bands including The Cat Empire, Mia Wray, Grievous Bodily Calm, Eskimo Joe and End of Fashion at various events and festivals.

WHO AND WHAT YOU ARE BOOKING
I perform vocals and accompany myself on either piano or guitar, reimagining songs by taking note of their elements and transforming them into an acoustic sound that is unique to my style. My biggest inspirations are The Paper Kites, Angus & Julia Stone and Feist, which are all lyrically driven, vocal tone ric-h artists.
At the heart of everything I do is a belief that music shapes the energy of a room and isn’t simply just something to fill the space. My intention is to support each client’s vision from start to finish, collaborating, guiding and inspiring to bring ideas to life and create a live music experience with artistry.

I am always looking to meet my client’s vision, which has led me to create ensembles full of talented, hand-selected musicians who I absolutely adore. I love adding strings to a ceremony to elevate the elegance, and a duo partner to support my vocals from below for a romantic tone.
