When she's not doing yoga or rowing on Perth's Swan River, Villah writes wistful, sophisticated electronic indie songs about situationships, wanderlust and self love.

Villah has released music sporadically over the last four years, including her first single She's Not Well in 2017, a bass synth driven, third person track that explores her own journey of her eating disorder she developed in her busy years at university, an obstacle she has since overcome. Laid over beautiful layers of synths and punchy electronic drums, Villah's angelic mezzo soprano voice supports the emotional and personal story, one which she hopes will speak to those in similar situations and encourage them to know there is light at the end of the tunnel; a consistent theme in her music.

Following her first single, Villah returned with So Cool, a punchy indie pop track (with trap elements) after taking a hiatus to travel and see the world. She landed in Brighton UK in 2019, and collaborated with South Lanes Studios Luke May; producing two wanderlust tracks Hey Henry and Too Soon.

Villah is a true indie artist, taking her fans on the ride with her through her social media platforms providing them with all access passes to her songwriting processes, collaborations, gigs and of course her extra curriculars which include outdoor yoga, travel, touring and rowing on the Swan River in her beach side home town of Perth, Western Australia.

Too Soon’ sucks you in with an ambient and beautiful, vocal driven intro. The track slowly adds more elements into the beautiful soundscape and when it's all brought together in the chorus you can’t help yourself but dance for the remainder of the song.”
